This Ginger Grape Soda is a fun twist on one of my older recipes, Ginger Beer. In theory, you can make it with store-bought ginger beer if you’d like to cut down on the prep time, but I can’t guarantee the results because I haven’t tried it that way yet myself; it’s possible store-bought ginger beer might just go flat during the “second fermentation” in which you add the grape juice. However, if you just want a quick cold drink and this sounds good to you, you can always skip to step 4 and just mix some store-bought ginger beer with some store-bought grape juice and call it good!

Ginger Grape Soda

Ingredients
- 2 cups ginger beer
- 2 cups grape juice check ingredients for AIP
Equipment
- 1 quart mason jar
- cheesecloth
Instructions
- In the mason jar, combine the ginger beer and grape juice. Cover with the cheesecloth and secure with a rubber band.
- Let sit in a dark space at room temperature, skimming any growth from the surface, for 3 days. Bubbles should fizz when the drink is stirred.
- Cap and let sit another day before chilling to serve.
- Alternatively, skip all that and just pour some cold grape juice into some cold ginger beer for a slightly less fizzy but equally delicious treat.
