My recipes tagged with Interstitial Cystitis are safe for the Interstitial Cystitis diet, or IC diet, for people with the (probably autoimmune) bladder condition that is also known as Painful Bladder Syndrome. The IC Diet omits the following foods and all products containing them:

  • Chocolate
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
  • Bouillon cubes or powder

Liquids

  • Alcohol
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Carbonated beverages
  • Vitamin or flavored waters
  • Vinegar
